Choosing the Right DAX Styling Product
The three DAX products stocked by AFRIHAIR serve different styling jobs. Choose a pomade or hairdress for control and shaping, or Pressing Oil when your routine is focused on smoothness, shine and heat-assisted styling.
Choose by Style
- For everyday pomade styling and hairdress use: DAX Bergamot Pomade with Olive & Castor Oil is the larger traditional option for conditioning, control and shine.
- For waves, slick styles and stronger shaping: DAX Wave & Groom Hair Dress provides concentrated control in a compact 99g tin. Begin with a very small amount.
- For pressing and smooth finished styles: DAX Pressing Oil with Coconut & Castor Oil is suited to routines requiring lubrication, smoothness and shine. Follow the product directions and use heated tools carefully.
How to Apply DAX Products
Warm a small amount between your palms, distribute it lightly through the areas being styled, then comb or brush into shape. Rich pomades and hairdress products are concentrated; adding too much at once can make hair feel heavy and require more thorough cleansing.
AFRIHAIR Tip
Build hold gradually. It is easy to add a little more product, but difficult to remove excess without washing. Cleanse regularly and avoid layering heavy pomade over several other styling products.
