Jamaican Mango & Lime Resistant Formula Locking Gel is intended for starting, retwisting and maintaining locs or twists that need firmer control. The formula features Manuka Honey and Moringa Seed Oil and is designed to hold without flaking when used as directed.

How to Apply for a Retwist

  1. Begin with clean, damp hair and divide it into neat sections.
  2. Apply a small amount at the new growth rather than coating the entire loc.
  3. Work the product through the root area, then twist or palm-roll in the desired direction.
  4. Clip the loc in place if needed and allow the style to dry completely before removing clips or covering the hair.

Who Is the Resistant Formula For?

Choose the Resistant Formula when your texture or locs need stronger control than a regular locking gel provides. More product does not automatically create better hold; careful sectioning, even application and complete drying are equally important.
